1. Service Agreement
- Thika Cleaning Services provides professional cleaning services to residential, commercial, and institutional clients within Thika, Kiambu, Nairobi, and surrounding areas.
- Each booking represents a service agreement between the client and Thika Cleaning Services.
- Service details, including scope, duration, frequency, and cost, will be confirmed prior to commencement.
2. Client Responsibilities
Clients are expected to:
- Provide accurate information regarding the property and service requirements.
- Ensure access to the premises at the agreed time.
- Remove or secure valuable, fragile, or irreplaceable items before cleaning.
- Inform our staff of any areas requiring special care or restrictions.
- Settle payments in accordance with agreed terms.
3. Our Responsibilities
We commit to:
- Delivering cleaning services as agreed upon.
- Providing professional, trained, and respectful staff.
- Using appropriate cleaning products and equipment.
- Ensuring health and safety standards are upheld during service delivery.
- Addressing customer concerns in a timely and fair manner.
4. Service Limitations
- We do not guarantee the removal of permanent stains, damages caused by wear and tear, or pre-existing conditions.
- Certain tasks (e.g., handling hazardous materials, heavy lifting beyond safety limits, or structural repairs) fall outside our scope.
- Our services are subject to weather conditions, safety considerations, and unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
5. Booking, Rescheduling, and Cancellations
- Bookings must be confirmed in advance and may require a deposit.
- Clients may reschedule a service with at least 24 hours’ notice.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may incur charges.
- If our staff is unable to access the premises due to client-related issues, the service will be considered delivered and fees may apply.
6. Payments
- All payments must be made as agreed—either in advance or upon completion of services.
- Accepted payment methods include cash, mobile money, or bank transfer.
- Late payments may attract penalties or suspension of services.
7. Refunds and Service Guarantee
- We are committed to customer satisfaction. If you are dissatisfied with the service, please raise the issue within 24 hours.
- Where possible, we will offer a re-cleaning of the affected area before considering refunds.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed in accordance with our Refund Policy.
8. Liability
- While we exercise utmost care, Thika Cleaning Services is not liable for:
- Pre-existing damages, permanent stains, or deterioration.
- Loss or damage to unsecured valuables not disclosed to our staff.
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the service.
- Our liability, if established, is limited to the value of the service rendered.
9. Health and Safety
- Our staff are trained to follow safe cleaning practices.
- Clients must notify us of any health concerns, allergies, or restrictions regarding cleaning products.
- We reserve the right to refuse services where conditions pose safety risks to our team.
10. Confidentiality
- All client information, property details, and personal data are treated with strict confidentiality.
- Our staff are under obligation not to disclose or misuse any client information encountered during service delivery.
11. Termination of Services
- Either party may terminate ongoing service arrangements by providing reasonable notice.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services immediately if:
- The client breaches these Terms.
- There are repeated delays or non-payment.
- Conditions are unsafe or unsuitable for service delivery.
12. Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, operations, or legal requirements. The latest version will always be available on our website or provided upon request.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, including the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 and other applicable regulations. Any disputes shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.
